On July 1, the online opening ceremony of the “Seminar on Food Safety Policies and Management System for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh” sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China and organized by China National Research Institute of Food & Fermentation Industries Co., Ltd, was held with 20 participants from the Ministry of Food of Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Food Safety Bureau. H.E. Mahbub Uzi Zaman, Ambassador of the Embassy of Bangladesh in China, Liu Zhenhua, Counsellor of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, Xiao Dan, Assistant General Manager of Sinolight Corporation of Poly Group, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of CNRIFFI, attended the opening ceremony.
The 20-day seminar helped the trainees understand the current situation and achievements of China’s food safety policy and management system through lectures, seminars and online visits, providing reference for Bangladesh to revise its food safety laws and regulations and optimize its management system.
